Since the Company rebranded from Kabelvision to First Media in 2007, PT First Media Tbk has become a pioneer of integrated telecommunications and multimedia services in Indonesia which since the beginning has carried the TriplePlay concept, namely subscription television services, high-speed broadband internet services, and data communication services through digital telecommunications networks.

In 2022, the Company sold its entire ownership in PT Link Net Tbk to Axiata Investments (Indonesia) Sdn. Bhd. and PT XL Axiata Tbk. The Company is currently repositioning its business with a focus on Media and Content Creation.
